General Operative - Ballysimon, Co. Limerick
As a General Operative, you will report to the Yard Supervisor and be responsible for the smooth operation and organisation of the yard and warehouse. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service by efficiently managing stock, loading company vehicles, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Work Schedule:
- Permanent, full-time contract (39 hours per week).
- Monday to Friday - Saturday shifts on rotation.
Location:
- Ballysimon Rd, Tipperary Roundabout, Singland, Limerick, V94 NAF8
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and securely store deliveries in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Identify and report low stock levels to ensure continuous availability of products.
- Safely operate and maintain the forklift (forklift license an advantage).
- Pick, pack, and load materials onto company vehicles.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Contribute to security by being alert to potential theft or damage.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a similar General Operative or warehouse role.
- Forklift license (an advantage, but not essential).
- Manual Handling Certificate (desirable but not required).
- Experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of building materials or plumbing supplies (a plus, but not required).
- A strong team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
